In the first quarter of 2025, several news and magazine apps stood out on the Android platform in Brazil. Here’s a look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

X (Formerly Twitter) from X Corp. saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 105K in late March. Revenue also climbed steadily, reaching approximately $10.5K in the final week of the quarter. Meanwhile, active users fluctuated, ending the quarter slightly lower at about 11.5M.

O Trabalhador experienced a surge in weekly downloads, with numbers reaching 60.6K in mid-March. Active users increased significantly, peaking at 115K towards the end of March.
